Water logged X5

Ok, I know this is the millionth thread on wet carpets but I haven't seen this particular situation. Couple weeks I have noticed a musty, unpleasant smell. I get to the rear carpets and they are water logged. I dried them out and it seemed ok until today. After a heavy rain I noticed literally a pool of water on the rear passenger floor. I park facing uphill on my driveway so it seems to collect there. BUt I tracked the flow of the water up under the center console area that runs between the seats, that is where the carpet is most water logged. Nothing else is wet- A Pillars, headliner, nothing- just the carpets. The carpets become dry about where the shifter is.

Anyone know if this is covered by CPO? I would imagine this would be quite costly trying to diagnose.

Left a message at the dealer. After this is fixed im seriously contemplating selling. The up-keep I thought would be similar to the 3 series...not quite.

**UPDATE** (for search purposes)

Went to the dealer and they determined there was a blockage in the AC drain line. Would not attempt to unclog so I had to replace the whole thing. One more thing for you all to worry about.

how much did that cost you? Did they say how the blockage happened on the ac line?

$500ish. I pick up the truck tomorrow. Yesterday my advisor said that spiders and such can clog it up with their cocoons and what not. Tomorrow I will get an exact cause.

The work order was unclear. Only specified clogged AC drain lines. The parts were $28, labor $390. Got out at $440 not too bad. Oh and not a CPO covered item. Neither is clogged sunroof drains.

sorry to hear it. I feel that CPO has some very grey areas, where one dealer would have covered it, another wouldnt.

Make a good relation with them, and you will be fine.. I am true testament to the positives of CPO, i probably received 10,000 worth of repairs in a 2 year period of my CPO/...
