Side view mirror HELP !!!!

Hi all,
Yesterday when I walked back to my car from the shopping mall and this was what I found: my side view mirror bending back with a crack (see picture) on the back, the ring that hold the mirror cover in place was on the ground and was run over into about eight pieces. Man, I was careful enough to park far away and walked in, but I guess it did not help. I do not know what happened but I want to fix this.
I look into the the OEM titanium trim for the side view mirror but I am not sure it will fix the problem (I don't know these trims are clip on style or not, beside my car is black on black). Another option is to replace the mirror (I don't know if the dealer will sell the mirror cover/ring only). Any sugggestion, gentlement?

Justin.
