I will try with one filament bulb. It should work although possibly throw an error but I could live with that. Anybody thinks that's an issue?

What model year is your X? The 2004+ are already using the one filament bulbs as the corner signal lamps only goes ON/OFF (no other intensity in between). Don't know about what pre-2004 uses.

I have a 2004 the corner is light is dual filament. It has the city lights intensity and then brighter intensity when it blinks. But only has two prongs.

That's weird, my 2004 only have 2 intensities...ON and OFF. Parking light intensity is the same as when it blinks. What's your build date?

Well, this is interesting topic!

What I know you are not able to program US model LCM to EU one. It has been possible only for some year models, but not anymore. You'll need to buy and install the EU LCM, and this not easy task, because pin order of EU LCM is not same, in other words you can not just switch LCMs and some re-wiring would be needed. LCM's physical location is not so nice either.

I actually made this mod (US front park light delete: installed new turn signals and EU type front parks and also rear fog light to my US X3, because I registered that car in Europe), but I can say that's not an "easy" operation. You’ll need to know what are you doing, burning of LCM is not cheap and wise operation. Many of guys have burned their LCM (by trying to disconnect front parks and taken turn signal from front side markers => this loads too much LCM). Please also notice, that you can not just cut the wires, you will get some nice warning light (and turn signal frequency will change) about burned bulbs due to BMW is so wise car, heh.

I would suggest not to even think about this mod. This is just my opinion of course. BTW, this mod is illegal in USA, so ....
