So it definitely turns out that even though I have dual filament bulbs only one gets current it's the thicker and shorter one (not the parking light one). I also received my Euro lights and they come with single filament bulbs.

Anyway, because it was a hassle disconnecting them, I decided to mod the lights given what we had! I bought clear bulbs and painted them silver. I progressively painted them until they were dimmer but still bright enough when blinking. I could probably spray some more paint to the top of the bulbs but this is how it turned out.

Pictures 3 and 4 the light is blinking. 3 is with all lights on in the garage. Now I'm happy the corner matches the angel eyes...

just made some pictures. Parking light deleted.
tools: ordinary notebook, connector car-computer, software, light switch from european x5.
It took 20 min to reprogram. Guy was programming the car, using european switch, and, after programming, put US back. Now he is thinking, how to reprogram my e70
