Tried to look for that Farcela stuff online and looks to be a european product so shipping is pretty high...... Is it worth the 35$ for the small tube?

Has anyone tried the Farcela G6 stuff or the Maguiar's?
Which is better?

My friend had the same problem on his trimwork! We took the rubbing sponge machine thingy and whent over it with water. 5sec and it was good as new! The meguiars solution is of course the best but we where out!

Alex.

Meguiars, ultra-cut 105 is amazing polish (with wool or yellow foam pads) but it'll remove a good 5um (micron) of paint/clear coat on one application (using Defelsko paint meter for reading) ; that's why it's the best for pro to work on beat-up cars. but I'll try Menzerna PowerGloss or even P106FF before Meg105, the golden rule of polishing, always use the mildest compund. BTW, if you have access to Meg105, you can use micro-fiber by hand to see if it works. GL

I agree, the meguiars polish works like a champ on the rainbow scum on the black trim. That rainbow film/discoloration comes mostly from the "rainbow sealer" that's used at the automatic carwashes and compounded by the elements.

Is this discoloration happening on just the standard black plastic trim or the gloss black trim that comes on the sportpacket models?Cheers...

It is only happening on the gloss black trim.

I'm gonna try the Meguiar's ultra cut, but as far as application goes, do I just use a micro fiber towel or a pad and apply it manually? Or do I need a buffer thingy?

i personally just use an old sock. doesnt really matter to tell u the truth..

wipe off with a microfiber, and follow it by a wax to protect the surface!
