2001 X5 Air conditioner issue

hey all
so i replace my aux fan and FSR last year because of classic symptoms. This year i turn on my ac, and I have cooler air coming out of the passenger side and less cool air coming out of the driver side.

when i drive it seems to work a little better, but even that is on and off.

In the cooler evenings it works better when the car is sitting still as well as driving.

During the winter while running the heat i would hear a clicking as i changed the temperature settings for the heat via the dial. Water valve comes to mind because of the ac not cooling.

i haven't checked the pressure but i haven't read freon leaking on its own with out an actual leak somewhere.

I will see if i can check the pressure from somewhere to help diagnose.

ANY help would be appreciated!
