To clarify, are you wanting to reset the service interval lights so that they are all green again or are you wanting to blow through the last light so that the dealer will perform the service?

If the former, the link provided above will reset the service interval if you have reached the threshold in the system for this to be done.

If the latter, the service interval lights go out based on fuel consumption. So the quicker you go through the fuel the qucker the light(s) will go out. There are 2 ways to influence this. One is via the number of miles driven and the other is the miles per gallon. If you drive it hard and lower your MPG into the single digits then it will go out quicker then if you don't.

BMW will pay for your service if your service indicator has only one green light. If they say no, tell them call BMWNA. That's according to my dealer, at least. I'd investigate that, if I were you.

hmmmm~ I called in to BMWNA customer relations, and the dealer, both of them tell me the same thing that they won't cover service if not all green light are gone~ even when I have brakes and air filter need to be replaced asap, they don't even make me an exception, my dealer is New Century BMW, any good service representative from that dealer? it's located in southern california~

You've got me, man. My dealer has repeatedly stated that I can call for an appointment the minute I have one green light, and I HAVE. And I've never paid a penny. This could be something that is left to the discretion of the dealer...?

that could be true.... as soon as I have one green left, I bring mine in for service...that way I get more out of my 6yr/100k maintenance! LOL hahaha...

but regardless, even if they don't want to do an inspection 1, your brakes should be covered ............

My stealer won't do any service work on my car unless all the green lights are gone too. I think it depends on the dealer and what they put on the sheet when they seek reimbursement from BMW.
