IzzE53 is on a distinguished road
Same issue here, on my 05 X5 4.4i. i had to go all the way to the top to get this fixed. master engineer had to come out and see the car, and it had to do it in front of him. So I drove him around the whole city until BANG!!! Transmission did while he was in the car. Got the tranny replaced. Good luck!
