Steering wheel shake, strange wobble....

so for the last week, i've had this strange wobble in my steering wheel..a slight jerk left to right, not a huge wobble, but its there....usually about 70km/h
Rebalanced tires(2x)...heck even went and put on some oem style 63, just to be safe.....still there....
2 weeks ago i did an alignment, got the toes corrected...
4 weeks ago i got the CV boots done...he pulled the shafts out..
I'm totally confused....my guess could be maybe warped rotor?
i feel it too when i press on the brake, feel it more when going faster....
Already did thurst arms last year, upper control arms....whats left, ball joint, tie rods and lower control arms?
Its annoying the hell out of me.....
Any insight would be greatly appreciated....

If you feel a pulse on the brake pedal too, it's probably your
rotors. I have the same type of problem at higher speed braking, but in my case the culprit is sway bar links......

I'm guessing that it would be those too. stabilizer bars or sway bar links...we'll see...dropped off this morning......

I've got the same thing along with some tram-lining. I'm changing the whole tie rod assembly (inner and outer). Have you changed your control arm bushings? I had the same thing in my 325i Sedan and I replaced the control arm bushings (powerflex), tie rod assembly's, and guibo and it's gone.

Well....my mechanic says it looks like a warped rotor....he's gonna lathe them down a bit and see if that helps, all suspension parts looked nice and stiff.....we'll see after i pic it up in a bit......
Brakes were done about 19-20 months ago, i bled the lines about 9 months ago.....
hope this helps!!!! argh....makes me wanna sell this thing, always something.....

I hear you bro!
Nah, changed my mind about selling the X5. There's a ton of money
in this truck already.....
People were giving me stupid offers and wasting my time, so I decided
to keep her for awhile......
You know, I've owned close to 37 vehicles in my life and this truck
is an absolute defect. Everyday there's a different problem. Never a surprise with my X5. But I tell ya, I do like the power and the braking
of my X......
Good luck with your ride and let us know what the culprit was???
My money's on warped rotors....????

Spiros
