Brake lights
I have "fixed" this twice, and here it is again.
Dash warning light comes on, BRAKE LIGHTS... call the wife to step on the brake and sure enough the right light is out AGAIN...this time I "scuffed" the contacts on the bulbholder...it's OK again...but for how long? WTF

I did the same as you which worked for a while, so I swapped right to left no more problems since ( 5 months or so ) might work for you if it happens again, sometimes its like mind games.

You won't 'fix' it that way alone. You need to drop a bit of solder onto the area to ensure a proper contact.
