What are the issues with the 2000 X5 4.4i's?

well given the age of the vehicle yes, you'll run into some problems. But getting the history might help....but i mean a used car is a used car, you'll run into some problems regardless of the brand, model etc....
Its what suits your needs....i'm not handy at all with wrench and i still bought this truck...nothing else would give me the family truck and sporty drive...
i mean if the price is right, why not!!!! mine has been giving me some headaches lately but, i still enjoy driving it....but i may end up getting rid of her soon!!!

Mine has needed the air intake sensor and filter replaced, minor oil leak all over the pan. Door locks broken. Stereo alpha numeric distorted, radiator small leak, aircon not blowing cool air any more, numerous o rings replaced with coolant hoses splitting basiclly a piece of shit that is costing me the earth. My 2001 X5 3.0 was a better can needed a new altanator. my only problem in 8 years. Hit and miss i say!!
