Self Leveling inactive message when I turn on headlights

Hey everyone I need help. I installed the CCFL headlights from parasite single, I ran the power from tapping into the ECU so I can use it as DRL. Everything works fine until I turn on the headlights, I get the self leveling inactive message. The back dosent raise up or its on even or nothing like that and once I turn off the truck and turn it on again it goes away. Is there something that im missing here. I only get that message when I turn on the headlights. I can run AE and fogs with no errors what so ever.

Could it be one of the leveling switches up front that attach to the control arms

Did you ever get this sorted? I have a self-leveling suspension message coming on only when I put on the headlights. My car is fitted with aftermarket HID's and has been hassle free for months now for the last few days it comes on everytime the headlights are turned on!

I have a feeling it could be to do with the battery. I hadnt drove my X in a week and only started showing the warning msg when I got back into it. I would start it and flick the lights on, the power taken for the HID control unit causes a a brief drop in voltage putting on the warning msg. The battery is sufficient to start the X, mine is a 3.0 diesel so requires a good battery 'kick', but I think it stuggles to maintain good voltage when she is started and running all systems and the HID's are sapping much need power. Thats my theory anyway after a good drive last night it was capable of running the lights without the msg but first thing this morning, same problem again.

Will keep you posted if I find a solution, that msg is Grade A annoying!!!
