What fuse for FSR?

Hi all,

My FSR has been playing up for a while (erratic fan) and now has started draining my battery overnight. I have ordered a new one but might take a week to get to me so I was just wondering if I could pull a fuse to stop it draining over night so the misses can use the car still without me having to jump start it.

Ive read conflicting thread's as to weather its fuse 61 or 64 but on WDS it looks like 64 goes directly to the FSR and 61 to the fan is this correct?

And can I just leave the fuse out for a week while she drives the car around obviously with no fan?

Cheers,
Brett.

Fuse 61 is for your engine coolant fan.Fuse 64 (50A)is the heater/AC
Other fuses related to the heater/AC are Fuse 3 (5A) and Fuse 48 (7.5A).

hey bimmer X5 did pulling 64 prevent he battery drain in the end? when the FSR is faulty it can cause battery drain even after the car sleeps i read, so am thinking of pulling this fues too so i can see if my drain goes...
