Removing the folding flap
I have a 2003 X5 wihich has a folding flap to cover the cassette palyer. Does any one know how to remove the folding flap? |

a dremel is involved... Im guessing your wrapping your wood trim with 3m Carbon Vinyl???? Google search E39 Wood Vinyl Wrap there are some writeups that should help you out.

I am planning of putting a aftermarket satsav and I need to take the dash flap out.

all you need to do is remove the stock radio and CD player ,you will see two clips on each side of that flap just ply them out of the clips it will come out.
