Hello

Hi ,

Been watching your site for a couple months now Today I finally taken the plunge and bought a X5.

Not been a easy decision to make.

Had to ask ourself if we were doing the right thing would we miss our V10 Touareg. I guess only time will tell.

It is a 3.0d Sport in Carbon Black with Cinamon Nappa Leather. Sat Nav Adaptive Xenons and some other bits and bobs.

Date of collection is depending on when the Aerodynamic body kit arrives gets colour coded ect etc.

Will post pic's when we collect her.

Just looking a the titanium exterior trim retro fits.

Can anyone tell me how good is the SoundModul is it worth the extra ££

:welcome: Good to have you here Scottie. I know another member here has the color combo you ordered. All I can say is that the pictures he posted were absolutely stunning! You made a great choice .

Nice color combo, I guess there might be a little difference in performance (the V10 diesel is quite a power house) but would love to hear your comments once you get the X. Welcome!

It will be slower than the VW, no questions asked. But it gives more driving pleasure in general. Congrats on the car!

I test drove the V10 then drove the X5 straight after and the X5 was much nicer to drive the V10 is slightly quicker but X5 beats it hand down on every thing else. Hould save a bit on fuel bills too.

my opinion exactly. Another disadvantage of the V10, is the 'weakness' of the automatic gearbox it has. A customer of mine has had 3 gearboxes replaced in 1.5 years. It just has too much torque.
