Wheel arches & spacers

I have just fitted a set of 20" wheels (315's on rear & 275's on front) to my X5 E53 4.4 2006, also have ordered a set of OEM wheel arches to suit - just wondering if anyone has a similar set-up and what width & brand of spacers they used.
Pics would help as I am wanting to keep the tyres flush or just proud of the arches if possible.

i was a fan of 10mm F and 15mm R. you dont want too much oversteer with larger spacers in the back

Looks good - would you have any up close pics? getting quite a few negative comments regarding spacers, especially 25 & 30mm - Im doing it more for looks as I dont want the wheels sitting in to far once the arch extension go on.

Cheers

Just curious: I have 255/18" all around and 45mm spacers rear / 15mm front - per wheel. Never had any oversteering - and I am not going slow

Please advise.

All an X5 does when going fast and then trying to turn is plow straight ahead.

Actually, IRC Justin means you may end up with too much understeer (not oversteer)with large spacers in the back. A lot of factors are involved, wheel offset, wheel width, etc. - not just spacer size.

All things being equal, adding spacers in the rear adds understeer.

Generally, I think under "normal" driving circumstances there's probably not any noticeable difference though.

45mm spacers!!! the local guys down at the suspension shop couldn't believe I was going for 30mm spacers - they were saying all sorts of reasons why I shouldn't do it but they still give a quote to purchase them - was nearly double what the sell for on ebay.
Im leaning towards 25mm rear & 15mm front at this stage.

when u put the spacers on be sure to get an alignment since the rear camber will get more negative
