Need help finding CD Changer wiring for DICE install
I've installed one of these in my E46, so I know the basic procedures. I also understand that all of the US '06 models have 3-pin, 6-pin and DSP coax cables. I've watched the videos; the connectors always seem to be fairly easily discoverable, as they were in my E46. I've pulled most of the back end of my E53 apart, and while I've found the coax cable, there are no 3-pin or 6-pin connectors that are unused. There are a couple that are plugged in (see yellow arrows in photo below), but nothing else I can see that could possibly be the connectors. Any help is appreciated! |

Update: I took my X5 by EAS today. Tom was kind enough to look at it and quickly figured out that my CD changer connectors were, in fact, the ones I had identified in my photo; they were plugged into a Sirius module which I didn't know had been installed by the prior owner. A few minutes later, and we had the Dice Duo hooked up and working perfectly. Thanks, Tom!

hooked up my dice on my x5
So i hooked up dice on my x5 today and found out that my X5 3.0 with nav and dsp did not need the dsp adapter from dice... After hooking it up i found a lot of distortion and no sound. I unhooked the dice dsp adapter and hooked it straight into the six pin connector on the car and voila perfect sound.... what gives! anyone want to buy my dsp adapter?
