Compare the hub bore size, the bolt circle diameter, the bolt size, the rim size (diameter and width) and the offset. If all those are good, no problem. There are charts with all those figures available if you are more specific in terms of what rim you are considering trying.

I understand that if all the measurements are the same they will work. I appologize for not being more specific to a certain wheel that came off a certain car, but I left it open to see what will work. I want to know what wheels from other vehicles that WILL work on a X5 without guessing. The reason Im asking is Im looking on Craigslist and see allot of wheels for sale. Most of these people wont be able to give me all the exact dimensions and theres so many that I would have to start a new thread everytime I found something. By the time I would get my question answered, they would be sold!

So, with that said, who knows what other vehicles I can look at to get another set of wheels? I want to know what will work without question! If there are none, then I know to only look for X5 wheels. If there are, then it opens the search for more options. Sorry for my original question not being as clear as it could have been.

Wheels from a 7 will have same bolt circle (5x120). May have the same center bore (72.6mm) and usually have an offset of 20mm or 22mm. The offset is not a problem in the back as the stance will be a bit wider. In the front this will likely push the wheel/tire combo beyond the standard wheel arch. (The extended wheel arch from the iS would remedy this but then you also need the rear arches, etc, etc.)

So, in a nutshell, they might well fit but they are not a match for the original X5 wheels (offset is 48mm on 18" wheel). There is no shortage of OE X5 wheels for sale so I would start there or buy after arket with a fitment that is exact or close enough.

Good luck with the search.

Take a look at the chart in this link, it lists many BMW wheel sizes.

X3 wheels. Anything else will stick out too far, although you may decide to accept that.

Did you look at the chart I linked to above?
