Another folding mirror issue.

I have a 2002 X5 and the passenger side power mirror folds in ok but there is a nasty clicking noise when trying to fold back out again. Sounds like knackered gearing in the motor. Has any one repaired one of these. Also found this on ebay. Has anyone used this repair kit? Thanks Shaun

Hi got the same problem on my 2001 4.4 hoping it maybe just the sensor not working, but cos of the noise thinking it maybe the gearing. Will be keeping any eye on this before I start to rip apart the mirror.
