4.8l swap into a 3.0i?

I just got a 2002 X5 3.0i and I have a 2000 M5, I'm really like the X5 and thinking of selling both and getting a 4.8is. But I was also wondering about just swapping a 4.8l engine into my 3.0i. Has anyone done it before?
Anyone interested in trading their 4.8is for one/both of my cars?
Besides looks and engine, what is different on the 4.8is? Probably better off just getting one instead of doing a swap.
Someone buy my M5, or trade me!

Im building a conversion kit this winter/spring should be available early summer. Engine Mounts, Transmission Mounts, Shifter, and Custom Headers.

Im probably going to run a LQ9 Built N/A or LQ9 Turbo. There is so much engine bay space its crazy.

For what it costs to do a conversion, wouldn't it make more sense to sell the 3.0 and M for as much as you can, and just buy a 4.8? Like JCL had alluded to, you'd have to upgrade sooooo much to get a comparable 4.8....just get a 4.8. It's worth it.

222,222 miles!! You da man!!
