T.V upgrade in in 2002 x5

Hi everyone ,
I know this may be obviu
os to most of you but could anyone advise me on the best way to upgrade the tv as it no longer works now that th uk has gone digital lol.

You have 2 choices, you can buy a BMW digital TV tuner (eBay best bet, try using the German eBay as they are usually cheaper), or you can buy an AV lead for the analogue tuner that you have and buy an after market freeview box. You would then set your TV channel to AV and use the remote on the freeview box. I have heard mixed reviews about the reception of any digital tuners and decided to not bother with digital tuners and went for a DVD player and media player which is connected to the front screen using the AV lead as mentioned above.

Thanks for the advice that's me taking the other half around currys and dixons looking at freeview boxes as it's gotta be worth a shot.great forum thanks again.
