I need to install bluetooth in My 2002 X5

Hi all
I really hate not having bluetooth option in my X5.
I wanna connect my iPhone to the vehicle and use the steering controllers to play music too
I have 2002 X5 with DSP.
Is my only option is Dice or should I go with original BMW module . I found an OEM on ebay with part number 84 21 6 934552-02 would this work for my vehicle or not , It doesn't come with any wiring ..

Thanks in advance

Save yourself the headache and expense and just get a visor clip on bluetooth device. Works great and is very little cost. I've got this one in my 2002 X5:

I use a headset. Got an '02 X5, too.

Hell, bluetooth wasn't widespread before about '04! It's asking a lot to retrofit an '02.

Smile I have installed this on my x5 2006.

I have installed a mediabridge on my x5 2006. It works great. It has bluetooth , aux, and usb connections. I had a professional installer do it though.

I am trying this also but in 2005 X5 and have not quite gotten it yet to work the part number you reference may work in your car but the question is whether it will then pair with your phone(s). see bimmernav.com for some good information on this part it is early model I think there have been 12 others since) and may not pair with later model phones (although that is not made specifically clear on bimmer.nav). I could not get that part to pair with iPhone4 also youll need eject box in the center console and antenna connected to the ULF module you reference also given your build date you may need SES jumper as well

best wishes for successful install

I had the exact same situation. Solution = DICE Media Bridge with DSP adapter. It cost me around $380 but I haven't looked back since... I love the calls, audio, voice dialing, etc. It works like you'd expect a BMW to.
