275/45 19" to fit 9j and 10j alloy ok?

Sorry to bring up this annoying post, but here is my conundrum, got a staggered setup:

255x50 19” 9J up front
285/45 19” 10J rear

Many experts here pointed out I could run 275/45 19” all the way round on these alloys…here is the question getting the 275/45 tire on the 9(J)inch wide rim means there will be more of a squeeze to get it on(compared to fitting the original 255/50 tire), thus the sidewall height will be taller as the tire is squeezed into the 9” rim width, and the opposite goes for the rear the 275/45 tire will have to stretch outwards towards rim lips more than the original 285/45 tire would have done and so the overall height is smaller? is my logic flawed?

I wanna rotate tires all way round and try to do so without changing alloys hence the recommendation of running the 275/45 all way round was the only way to do it, cant find any used 235/65 17” out here in Cyprus…any feedback would be great

not that I doubt powers1 opinion, but the more the merrier, and lets just say for arguments sake i cant afford to go for replacing the tires all way round with the staggered option.....does fitting 275/45 go all way round ok on the alloys mentioned?

Damn it !!!You doubt me
Ok.I think I more or less explained it to you on the PMs we been exchanging.
The main issue here is the difference in rolling diametre between OE tyres and teh 275/45 you want to fit. With 275/45 theres a difference in rolling diametere of -3.89%,which will reflect also on your speedo reading. You will be riding lower and you will have a bigger gap between your wheelarch and the the top of the tyres but not too noticeable ,the difference is approx 10 mm in diameter, but this will be split in half,so really only 5mm gap difference.
With respect to fitting the tyres on the wheels ,you will still be perfect on the rear and at the front the 20mm difference in tyre width is not too bad ,once you split that 10mm on either side,so not much difference and you will have plenty of clearance on the inside of the wheel well.
So ,I say again ..do it!..do it !

265/45-19 = 28.4" tall, 8.5-9.0 wheel
275/45-19 = 28.7" tall, 9.0-9.5 wheel
285/45-19 = 29.1" tall, 9.5-10.0 wheel
295/40-19 = 28.3" tall, 10.0-10.5 wheel

Sorry, I don't get it, you want to rotate the tires with a staggered set-up? The tire size is fine. But you should not run 10J on the front with 9J on the back.

And remember, your spare won't be the same size.....

haha , noooo doubts, just the tire shop i went to didnt recommend i whack 275/45 all way round for the reasons i mentioned initially....tires being squeezed onto front alloy, and being stretch out to fill rear alloy.....ok i will give it a shot.....found some decent pirellis

no no not planning to do what yo mention......once i fit 275/45 19" tires all round albeit in the 9j and 10j alloys i will be able to remove the tires from the alloys to rotate depending on wear
