What a good Video Interface for X5 E53 4.6is ?

Dear Dudes,

My car is X5 E53 4.6is of year 2002, with 16:9 Navigation Wide Screen Car Monitor at front console, CD Changer at side trunk, Radio/ Sound Module + DSP Amplifier/ Video Module are under the trunk.

I am going to install
(a) Gateway 300 to have iPod musics through the audio system
(b) Reverse camera

Pls adv what a good and affordable Video Interface or Converter suitable for my case in order to have different audio and video sources on the original car monitor
I maybe have video source from iPhone to have Youtube or DVD other than just iPod and CD musics

Thx in advance

A couple vendors come to mind...
- Navtool

You may have better luck posting this in the electronics forums or going to a local shop with audio/video expertise.

I see that you're located in Hong Kong, you should know better than anyone! Most of that stuff comes from Hong Kong/China, so your in the perfect place to access those kinds of electronics, let us know what you decide.

hi, there aren't not much people selling car interface or converter since HK ppl don't like much to have audio and video modification after bought an European car for these few years, cuz they prefer to have an European car in full equipment when in brand new.

After review the market in HK, there is a converter, named Universal RGB Low-End Car Video Interface by Car Solutions, pls adv if it is a good interface for my car.

if you have the video module, you do not need any converter. In the rear cabin area by the cupholder/heated seat switch should be a A/V input. if you do not, consider retrofitting the connector.
