Replacing air suspension on 05 4.8is

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about getting rid of the air suspension on my 2005 X5 4.8is and can get a good deal on Four Bilstein Shocks and HnR springs with 1 inch drop front and 1.2 rear

Do you think this is a good setup?

I'm planning on keeping the X5 going for a few more years at least and would like to avoid the problems with air suspension/self-levelling (which have already cost me a lot)

I was also looking in KW Variants but they will cost me over $1000 more for the setup so not sure if it's worth it

Thanks!

Just replaced my whole set-up with Blisten shocks and Eibach springs and I could not be happier. I say go for it!
