Auto Box

Well Ive finally decided to have my gearbox changed after months of trying to get to the bottom of some issues.
1, When I sometimes come to a stop if feels like the box is still in a high gear and the t/c lock up clutch isnt disengaging ,although it does at the last split second.
2. Sometimes when I select reverse the car wants to "shoot" backwards in which I have to stand on the brakes to stop it.
3. The T/C lock up seems to come on and off easly which causes the rev counter to waver 500 or so revs.
Ive had it plugged in and has come back with a gear 3 monitoring fault, which I'm told is down to slipage. The tech also said he could feel a small amount of T/C judder. The oil has been checked and seems clean and not burnt.
There goes christmas! I've told my boys to expect an apple and orange in the stocking this year
