Tranny or breathing problem?

I have a '06 4.8is that sometimes behaves as if it's starving for oxygen or my transmission is slipping. It seems to happen when my speed is steady with no real load and the car is always to temperature.

It doesn't happen all the time and until recently I thought I was the only feeling the problem but then my 6 year old asked me tonight why the car felt like it was jumping.

I know this is vague but does anyone have a similar problem?

Oh...I just rolled over 70k and have 4 months left on my CPO so what ever the issue I hope it presents itself soon.

I have a similiar problem, I had new tranny fluid put in and also all my gaskets on my engine replaced valley pan and main engine seal so the tranny came out. It feels as if a plug is missing on occasion and also feels like the a tranny slip. Anyone have any ideas of this I believe our problems are related.

I contacted the dealership and described the symptoms and he suggested that it may be the TC. I agree with his thoughts and I'll drop it off next Monday. I asked him to keep it for the week and use it to drive to/from work so it will duplicate since it doesn't happen everyday.

I hope the issue presents itself soon since my CPO is expired February 2012.
