How to reset the yellow brake pads warning light?
Does the PEAKE tool has the ability to reset this light? thanks |

Just turn the key into position 2 and wait until the brake light goes out. The DIY for this is in the articles section of this site.

Thanks for the replay, however the light still stays on, I've reused the wear senors, but something tells me that one could be defective and causes the light to remain on.

You should be replacing the sensors when you replace the pads, specially it it showed the Light before you changed them. They can only be used once.

If the sensors came on before you replaced the pads, they are done and need to be replaced. One time use, as noted above.
If however they had not come on, and you reused them, then it can simply be a bad connection at the junction box, or a break in the wire. The light comes on due to an open circuit. Once the sensors are known to be good, then the light is turned off by turning the key and waiting, there is no requirement for any special tool.
