No Heat! Blower works fine - please help

Hi Everyone,
*
On my 2004 X5 4.4, I suddenly have no heat.* The blower works fine, as do all buttons on the climate control (and AC works).* I can have the temp at 90 deg F, and the center vent on heat as well, but NO hot air will come out.
*
What are the first items to check?
-Fuses?
-Heater Valves?
-Heater core?
*
Also, I just had the dealer last week replace the water pump, T-stat, and temp sensor.....could this have anything to do with the heat issue?
*
Thanks for your help!

There is air - just normal temp if ac is off. Cold air if ac is on. But definitely not hot.

Did they bleed the cooling system properly after doing the water pump etc? It could be air in the cooling system. I would take it back to whomever did the work.

I assume so, the engine has no cooling issues

I'd take it back to dealer, the common issue is air pocket in the heater-core or thremostat (but you got new one so that's probably not it).

I know - just trying to see what else to check since if the dealer looks at it and doesn't find anything related to the repairs they did I have to pay a $160 diagnostic fee. Trying to avoid that if I can!

I'd argue with service manager that the work they did cause this problem, you shouldn't get charged diagnostic fee for it. All work by dealer is waranty for sometime, 6-month to a year in most cases; that's why they charge so much

True, but I'm trying to figure out if these things are even related. Is there a way to check for failure of the heater valves or heater core?
Are there any fuses related to these that I should check?

Thanks for the help guys
