moonroff drains

Have the 02 X5 for about a month. Driver's floor under the mat was soaked when I got it. Dried it out, staying dry. However, I ran it through the car wash today and I'm getting water dripping from the moonroof switch and that vent in the overhead console. Also noticed a few drops near the hood release on the driver's side. I'm suspecting the moonroof drains. So, How do I clean them out?

Search is your friend.

Read this thread and look at all the pics and links within the thread. Good luck.

Got compressed air, trimmer line, club soda, vodka and Kahlua. Should work. Thanks.

If that doesn't work, consider a new sunroof seal. I had the same overhead leak and my drains were fine. Replaced the seal and all is good.

i pulled the headliner down and used 4 tubes of windshield calk. dealer wanted $2k. did it for $20. also check your battery box. if its coming in the front may also be coming in the back. your radio and other components are back there and may short out like mine did
