I am in Maryland too.
Put my winters on right before Thanksgiving. Running Ice and Snows on 17's with 25mm spacers on the rears. I found without the spacers my rears were in set too much and the whole look of the car was off. Getting ready to take it back to the stealer for a real BMW alignment, hope they don't give me grief about the rear spacers. Fyi Randell BMW in Baltimore has a special oil change, tire balance, rotation and alignment for 250.00 Passport wanted to charge me 300 for just the alignment.

Got my 18s on, blacked out, and 25mm H&R spacers in the rear. They look pretty good:

Mine go on this weekend, with spacers.
I usually put mine on Dec. 1st and take them off on Apr. 1st.

Here's mine with 20x9.5" M5 reps and 275/40 Vredestein Wintrac 4 Xtreme tires. I'm using 30mm H&R spacers. The wheel offset is only 20mm so they sit out agressively.
