Just for fun,Need help finding DIY for transmission and engine removal

Hi Folks,
I like taking things apart.... Im'a not so good at putting them back together.

I'm planning to remove my engine and trans some day(if and when it ever fails) or I want to do performance mods and I thought I'd read up and start thinking of this. There is a engine removal instruction in the online TIS... no Transmission instruction.

Its been over 30 years since I helped my older brother remove an auto trans out of an old Plymouth Valiant. It probably isn't that hard. I know I'd need a transmission jack on wheels/castors.

My thought would be to send my own machine out to be rebuilt rather than buying a rebuilt machine. In an attempt to keep all the serial numbers factory.
