i dont know if you guys knew but these are 40% this weekend with the code "50VXX"

With the BMW Scanner can you turn off the amber lights?

Also can someone please explain the high beams in the x5 to me. I thought both mine were burnt out because they didnt work and the dash told me to check high beam bulbs.

When installing these I noticed that the highbeam (the inner bulb) was disconnected and when I connected it the high beam seemed to stay on at weird time. I also noticed that when i pushed the light control forward the Xenons became high beams as well. So i left them disconnected. Can anyone explain why these would stay on when I turn the lights on (car off), and why these are in addition to the xenon high beam?

Here are the pics. They are a lot "nicer" looking during the night but during the day it is really hard to tell and not really worth remembering to turn them on by themselves. No where near as bright as anything that is an actual led/ccfl in the ring. Not sure if I will return these, even though they were only $80.

Here are the pics at night, they look great in the pics but just look at how bright they are stock which you cannot see at all during the day for reference. I will try to get some in the day tomorrow

Yes with bmw scanner you can turn off the amber corner lights as well as the high beams. Now for the high beams they turn on with the light/rain sensor you have that connected if you look close to your windshield. Those turn on automaticaly once you turn the lights on and will stay on unless you disable them. I would say to change them to halogen and using the bmw scanner make them stay on with low beams its looks beast i hope i answered your questions
