BMW JOIN WITH MICROSOFT TO PRODUCE THE NEW ERROR PROOF VEHICLE SOFTWARE!


In a bid to eliminate the numerous software glitches in the OEM BMW software BMW and Microsoft have combined. This should result in a more reliable, less error prone vehicle.

First test drive.
On turning the ignition key to the start position the MID displayed “Fatal Error: Exception B000697989000115977. Process aborted and will close down.
Reload software.”

Second attempt.
Turn key. MID display “Please enter your username and password. Failure to enter username and password within 30 seconds will cause vehicle immobilizer to engage.
29. 28. 27. 26. 25….”

Third attempt.
Vehicle starts and allows driver to proceed. However about 1 mile into journey MID displays shows “Transmission has attempted to access a device not on this system. Transmission will now close”
Vehicle stops.

Fourth attempt.
Vehicle starts and allows driver to proceed. About 25 mile into journey MID displays “A new update is available. Press any key to download. When download is finished you must reboot to install updates.” You brake for traffic and the downloading window is displayed. After it finishes the download the vehicle stops until it reboots.

Fifth attempt.
Well by this time I had found an old 2002 and got rid of the modern computerized version!
