People have names (that would be a novel idea), you could also say "the asst. manager on duty"... he deserves to be regarded as more than the Spanish asst manager, I am particularly sensitive to how people refer to other people in this present day. To me this sort of thing dehumanizes people who work hard to do a good job.
To me it was equivalent to: the Spanish guy overcharged me or the Spanish guy dismissed my concern about price... get me a white guy, he might as well as said "you know how those people are". He is only following his employers policy why does his race matter?. and since he was Spanish he was easier to dismiss. If he was a white man or woman he would not have made that distinction.
Like I said in my first post it was probably unintended but, it sounded, to me, racist and I'm allowed an opinion.

NYC is a huge melting pot of cultures. It's a given that people will describe someone based on their nationality around here.
Anyway... back to the subject. I would rather make the extra drive to Hassel BMW in Freeport for any parts and service. I've bought parts from BMW of Bayside and their prices weren't all that bad too.
