Bavarian Technic BT Cable OBDII Diagnostic Tool

Do any one have any experiences with this tool? Is it truly just like a GT1 or just a glorified diagnostic tool/code reader?

Bavarian Technic BT Cable OBDII Diagnostic Tool - JleviSW

I am thinking about getting it and would like to know what you guys think.

Thanks

never seen a GT1 but from what others has describe it, I seriously doubt BT is like it.
I have BT, cause I like plug-n-play system that support new MDS81 (N54 and N55 engine), honestly BT is kinda weak on E53 support (not many commands for peripherals). At the end it really depends what you are trying to do, BT is more than sufficient for me.
