Mirror folding option?

Hi guys.
I have a 2003 model with a button to fold the mirrors.
However, when i push the button all it does is fold and unfold again (flapping it's ears good if someone bumps into mirrors when I'm inside for a quick rebounce, but are they supposed to fold and stay folded?
I would like them to fold when I lock the car, but i cant find any option to do that with my programing tool.
Anyone did this or have a different folding behavior than me?

There are many good threads on common problems with folding mirrors. Do a search and it will help to determine which best matches your problem.

Here's one to start with. Good Luck!

Thanks for the link Poppa.

So they are supposed to fold and stay with the button then, good to know.. I will look into this on my car.

Any one know a coding option to make then fold when locking the vehicle?

If they wont stay folded in then you have a problem with the micro switch inside, usually the metal lever brakes off the switch, witch can be botched if your lucky... If not, then its £250 from the dealer as you will find it really hard to find the switches elsewhere.

Someone else might know but I don't.

I went and bought the emirror module. Simple to install.

Warning: It will probably wear out your motors prematurely.
