Smoked LED tail lights

I have read this thread with great interest. I just got in some Spyder LED tail lights from Tunersdepot. Great looking lights. I had everything in and brake and blinkers work fine. No back up or tail lights. I thought I had blown a fuse so spent an hour reading each and every fuse and could not find a tail or brake fuse.

I read about possibly the pins not matching up so will check tomorrow and see if that might be the problem. Any other ideas?
