4.8is CCV? Can't find it. But we have pressure valve. Look

So I've been trying to find the CCV on Real OEM for the longest. I must have clicked on every damn picture on there. I have come to the conclusion that we, the 4.8is club do not have this at all, or it is magically hidden in RealOEM. I mean I can't find it for the 4.4, but if I google realoem, i find it for 4.4 and 4.6. Can someone help.

Look at intake manifold, no CCV
RealOEM.com * BMW E53 X5 4.8is Intake manifold system

Crank Ventilation, no CCV
RealOEM.com * BMW E53 X5 4.8is Crankcase-Ventilation

Valve cover mounting parts. Well look at that, number 13, pressure regulator valve.

Yes ladies, I am going to order it. Going to let you all know if it did anything. Figure might as well replace it. Saw on some E46 forums that the new one should be redesigned or something. Real OEM doesn't show it, but I figure, you know plastic, spring, gasket, why the hell not.

Now I have to look at my car to find the CCV, I want to clean it for preventative maint. Help please. Why does realoem not have it.

My engine is a bit rough on idle. I have come down to a vac, or some sort of damn leak, or engine mounts. I tested the engine mounts, they seem rock solid. I still think a visual is not good for diagnosis and might have to do them regardless.

So yea, the car is almost 78k miles, and I am doing a tuneup really. I was googling rough idle and an E46 thread came up where the person replaced them and the car got better. For $17, I am not going to think twice about it, and figure its a cheap attempt at fixing the roughness.

Plus it's much easier that even finding the CCV, which I just want to inspect and clean really.

After reading all the intermediate levers threads, I don't think this is my issue.

I don't get rough shaking or SES light. My engine just seems to vibrate all the time. Worse when in gear, but not by much.

Plus I am sure I am not loosing power, as a matter of fact I am leaning toward the car being a beast. How do I know? Well I ripped the piss out of my friends 06 4.4i. Tore a Range Rover Sport a new one two days ago. Yesterday went for a drive at 1am. While in manual, 2nd gear, sweeping road, full throttle, the car screams and pulls with suck ferocity that the tires fight for traction. It is very crazy how the fronts pull you through and the nose of the car is lifted

But I found a thud yesterday. Locked in first, when I let up off the throttle, I get a thunk, throttle, thunk. Tried 2nd and 3rd after that. Doesn't make a diff which rpm or gear. Really leaning toward mounts.

LOL Bulk, I am a retard. Thank you. I wanted to get something better. Because I want to do the vacuum cleaning, and can't seem to find the hose to tap into.

The CCV on the 4.8is is on each bank of the motor, on top. Remove the top cover and it will be staring at you. Looks like the cover of a peanut butter jar, black.

It's not like the older motors with the old style CCV/oil separator.

Easier and cheaper to replace.

Item number 13 below:

Lol, yea look at my first post. I am pretty sure that is just the pressure regulator. I am also pretty sure we have a CCV. I just didn't have the time to take the cowl plastics off yet.
