Squeaking is getting worse. Even when not squeaking, it's like Chinese Water Torture; ears perked up anticipating the next sound. Very nerve racking. Definitely not the 'ultimate experience' by any stretch. Taking to indie mechanic to see what's up.

Guys checked the suspension today and everything is tight and no squeaks.
Probably it's just all the system that is aging, but still holding up together pretty well.Obviously except the squeaking.

My guy mentioned a spring needed to be changed first before he can do further diagnosis. He mentioned the spring fix might just solve my problem and I'll be done. If not, then he'll look at the bearings, lower bushings, and control arm.

What needed replacing was the 'spring case housing'. Cost $140 for labor and OEM BMW parts. Sweet! The indie got me in and out in 2 days. I recommend this guy if you are in the Houston area. Sure, I didn't get the cool BMW loaner, but I didn't get a dealership colonoscopy either.

You know what's funny?
In my case it's the seat that makes squeaking.Soooo annoying...
