DIY Cold Air Intake
Has anyone ever done DIY Cold Air Intake on their X5? If you do, mind share some info, feed back ....etc? Thanks

It already is cold air... the intake is in front of the radiator
I put a K&N intake on mine, can't tell a bit of difference but at least I can just wash it every year instead of replacing.

I have the Dinan CAI. Truck sounds and pulls like a beast. I wouldn't know any different (bought it with it already installed).

This Group M intake was made for the e46 but I fited it into the x5.Performance gain I'm not sure but it does give the engine some good sound.

That was just a test fit picture....I end up running the pipe from the front bumper all the way to the filter with the cover in front of it. |
