Guys, I'm having these LED tails lights installed on my '02 X5. Their main disadvantage (if you could overcome the famous low-current-consumption by adding resistors/ bulbs to fool OBC) is that they melt! Yes they melt and the outside surface gets a little deformed (wavy) because of heat caused by bulbs, especially when you turn the back fog lights on.
However, as I live is Saudi Arabia, I don't think European cars would suffer from this. Just be cautious and DON'T THROUGH AWAY OLD LIGHTS! |
