Problem is that the control arm it self is a separate structure. Yes it's connected to the ball joint but the control arm it self should only be replaced if you see a defect in the arm. Pushing the bushings out is not a problem. The ball joint is a whole other matter. I'm planning on changing both the ball joint and the bushing at the same time. Maybe even the wheel bearing too just for safe measures
