I'm guessing that I am the only one that thought the body-color wheel ring looked good? I would run screaming in any other color, but black main, body-color ring made me say hm..
stripe no-worky.. what's with da' headlights? EDIT: AHhh, eyelid.. no worky.
+1 stagger & lip, even 20" is likely to show the spacer vs wider.

WAYY off main-street, has anyone considered removing the blankety-blank old-world mirrors entirely? Nice CCD cam feeds an interior display in a better and weather-proof position, zoom for the look you prefer, etc. I mean we ain't after visual perfection in rear-view, just EASY perception of who/what is there.

patent-pending

EDIT: no idea why it lightened, sorry.

Other than the stripes down the hood I'm feeling your idea in the sketch.

The H&R Spacers found HERE (the ones linked in the quote) are a super popular size for the E53. I think a spacer between 20mm and 30mm would really set off your truck! If you need help figuring out what you need feel free to send me a PM and I'll help work with you to get just the right spacers for your SAV!

Do you have a rear lip spoiler already?

I like the body color on the rims. However, if those are original 87s, I'd leave them alone. Go buy some wider wheels (nice deep dish look) and put the widest tires that could fit on the rear. You still might have to get spacers.

Nice wheels/tires really make the largest impact.

Good luck.

Not sure of your exact question.

A 315 tire is around 11" wide. It can be mounted on a wheel up to 12.5 inches wide.

The stock staggered wheel width is 10.5 inches.

I think the widest passenger tire available is 375.

I wanted to throw on some 22"s but honestly I have not seen any really good WIDE wheels for the x5.. And the style 87 are nice. If anyone knows of Amy please share!

Any suggestion or wheels off the top of your head? Have not seen too many that are real wide and deep dish... I saw a mesh looking wheel from DPE that guy put on his 4.8is some time back looked nice

I hear you. I haven't seen any real wide either and most are 22s - which I'm not a fan of.

Probably some kind of mesh/BBS wheel would be the most common. Here are some I found that I liked but all these are 22s though. I think they're all HRE wheels.

Nice black (six spokes)

Not black (5 spokes)

Nice on red (mesh)
