ABS, DSC, Brake warning lights "fixed"

2003 X5 3.0i
I had an ongoing saga of the battery draining daily after months of trying to find the cause I found that the SUV had a satnav (Smart nav UK for traffic alerts) with an tracker fitted, It was hidden behind the soundproof covering behind the multi cd & nav dvd players, that was causing the battery drainage (now removed)
I also had the amber abs, dsc and brake warning lights lit because of the battery drainage (battery was in and out to be charged daily), the brake warning light then went red after a couple of months, today I have managed to get all warning lights off by cleaning fuse #63 (50 amp in glove compartment) with sand paper, replaced the fuse, started engine, turned steering wheel full left then full right and all lights went off.

Hope this might help others out there?
Jaima

I have exactly the same thing with my 2001 X5 3.0d. I'll try that fuse thing... I've already been thinking about getting INPA and a software to clear those warning lights, but maybe this will solve the problem.
