Pictures needed

I searched but no luck...
Can someone give me a link or pictures of 18th 87wheels on 4.6 or 4.8 with wide fenders. I want to see how they look from behind (with spacers or without)

Right now I have a 87 OEM 20 staggered setup and was thinking goint to 18th and maybe selling my 20 inch wheels with tires...

Why do you consider selling them - because of Conti performance or other reasons?

I am about to purchase 18 inch 87 with Pirelli Scorpio...

Yea last snow, the car didn't even consider the fact that it might be slippery with these tires on. 20's at that. I was shocked at the level of grip I got in snow. Stopping, turning, and the most exciting, ripping out of snow.

I need to see how the conti function in heavier snow to decide if I am selling the 87s.

Same here - I have 87 20inch setup with great tires but they are really bad in snow, even light snow so few days ago I got a chance to buy 18 inch 87 wheels with pirelli scorpio (only one season on them, practically new) + 30mm spacers - the whole package for $650.00

I have no idea how 18 wheels handle in snow but if they are great I might consider replacing my 20 inch stag. setup and just drive 18 all year round... but I will probably miss that aggressive look

Nah I can't give up the look, and performance of the other 3/4 of the year. You should try the Conti, I can't praise them enough. I am one of those people that swear/preach to using Summer tires for the summer, and winter for the winter. After this set of tires, I am not so sure.

It is not about the diameter of the wheel that helps it in the snow, it is about the contact patch. Figure our 315 are over 10" contact on the road.

A 7" wide contact patch will be able to dig into the snow better. While a wider contact patch will spread the load over the 10+" making your tire become a snow board, not able to dig in.
