Window Shade Help.

So I have been searching around for awhile online and cannot seem to find anyone with a similar issue.

On the right side rear quarter window shade my top mounting metal clip is broken. Does anyone know where to get a replacement or should i attempt to make one?? Has anyone had a similar issue?

Thanks in advance as always.

I think you might have to buy the whole assembly or make your own.

Why bother making one when a set of 4 OEM clips sells for $4. at BavAuto.

For the metal clips that hold on the shade? Or the clips that hold the shade once it is pulled out?

I think he is referring to the plastic clips that the shade hooks to. (Part # 10 in the diagram above.) I think you are talking about the metal clip that is on the backside of Part #6 that holds the quarter window blind on to the window. That part, which is the one I think you are looking for, doesn't show a part number on its own so it doesn't look like you can buy just the clip.

So thanks to all I foulnd the part number from the diagram posted above.

For future reference if anyone needs it is part # 51168266959.

After an afternoon of tinkering it I found a solution until I receive the part as it is a bit tough to get the bends just right.

Good eye! I guess I didn't look carefully enough. That's why I like to post the parts diagrams.

ECS is a site sponsor too so call them up!
