Hi did mine, the cover is fitten with a few lugs that go through the door card and are then heated. I took my door card off, but I just pushed the new one in without melting the lugs. So if you are happy to do this you could carefully remove the old one cutting off the lugs and just pust the new one on.

your welcome, you just cant melt the lugs once through the card but quite a tight fit anyway.
