So the bulbs you bought off Ebay seem to be new,but try them and see, before you give the Seller ,the feedback

Alright, that photo removed any doubts. My new bulbs have that exact same tint. I installed them and they seem to be working just fine (still daylight here). The headlight case was a PITA to remove, since I did it without removing the front bumper.

Yes, most of the bulbs will output less K for the first hours (Philips claims 100 hours), after which the temperature bump a few K permanently, resulting in a slightly more blueish light. There also are bulbs locked at the final temperature (Philips has the ColorMatch series), that won't change temperature over time, usually designed to allow you to replace a single bulb and have them the same color. Anyway, my doubt were about that tint inside the bulb which is visible with the bulb removed/disconnected, like the pictures Powers posted.
Moving on, I noticed the driver side HID bulb mount (inside the headlight) was a little bit loose. I thought it was because of the adaptive lights, but then I compared it with the passenger side, which felt more solid. Should I worry and try to re-tighten any screws?
The adaptives work just fine, both by themselves and through INPA, no flashing "A" LED on the light knob either.
