Appreciate the input, but why not? IIRC, the Castrol bottle says it meets BMW specs. Running better than since I bought my used X5 after 5 months ago.

I do plan on draining as much fluid through the drain plug since its been about 5k miles after the first time I drained it.

e30 - sold as it was a little slow for a DD and burning oil at 220k 2011
